Danish Government Scholarship is open for foreign students at the University of South Denmark. The bursary facilitates Masters in mechatronics, chemistry, electronics, electric engineering, and computer engineering at the University of Southern Denmark..
You will pick up your bursary at University of Southern Denmark if you are an international student. All foreign students except those from EU/EEA countries may send their applications.
In order to attract talented students to its country, Denmark offers scholarships to students interested in studying abroad. The scholarship of the Danish government is the same for all students of any culture and religion. According to the desired university, field and course, the amount of the scholarship offered to students is different. Many fields are offered for Danish scholarship in the universities of this country, among these fields are medicine, veterinary medicine, basic sciences and civil and architectural engineering, agricultural engineering, etc. cited.

Programs Available
Applicants from a non-EU/EEA country applying in Sønderborg to be entitled to pay one of the following engineering master’s programs (start of programs in autumn):
- MSc in Engineering – Mechatronics
- MSc in Engineering – Electronics
- MSc in Engineering – Mechanical Engineering
Eligibility Criteria
- Having an English language certificate for admission to Danish universities
- Have a non-Danish nationality.
- You must enroll in one of the participating universities in this scholarship. As a result, you should check the requirements of each university on its website
Nationalities Eligible
Foreign students are eligible to apply for the scholarship, irrespective of their nationalities. No nationality is excluded.
Benefits for the Scholarship
In order to honor the significant investment students make during their study, the University of South Denmark offers a Danish government Scholarship – sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The scholarship is of two sections:
- a total exemption from tuition fees and;
- a grant to support living expense of DKK 3000 a month in advance of the taxes
How To Apply for the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded to qualifying candidates who are best suited. All candidates offering study position for the scholarship will be immediately taken into account. There is no need for a separate program.
The scholarship is awarded to the most eligible applicants on the basis of points. For each program please see the section “Entry requirements”. To ensure that the application will be accepted, all records must be available before the application deadline.
