To apply for the Rhodes Trust Scholarship, you must fulfil the following eligibility criteria.

Rhodes Trust Scholarship Benefits
The Rhodes Trust Scholarship covers the University of Oxford’s application, tuition and other administrative fees. It also provides a stipend of £17,310 per annum. A settling allowance of £250 is also provided on arrival in Oxford. This stipend can cover all your living expenses and accommodation. However, this might not be sufficient to cover partners or dependents.
The Rhodes Trust will provide you with two economy-class flights – to and from the UK – for the beginning and end of your studies in Oxford.
This scholarship provides International Health Surcharge (IHS) and covers the fee for a Tier 4 visa. Furthermore, Rhodes scholars can avail of various research grants and international conferences during their stay at the University of Oxford.

In broad terms, all constituencies will require the following materials in differing forms:
- Curriculum vitae/resumé or list of principal activities. (Please do not include a photograph in your CV for this scholarship)
- Evidence of academic record/transcript (complete or in progress) of undergraduate degree and any postgraduate study
- Personal statement or essay (including, crucially, a clear statement of what the applicant wishes to study at Oxford and why)

- Evidence of age/birth certificate/passport
- Photograph
- Four recommendation letters from appraisers who can attest in confidential references to the character and intellect of the applicant, including academic, personal, extra-curricular and leadership achievements (and who should never include people to whom you are related).
