Scholarship Purpose
The main purpose of providing this scholarship is to contribute to the development of human resources in developing countries, promote deep cultural understanding, strengthen relations between developing countries, and improve the research capacity of Indonesian higher education institutions.
Scholarship Benefits
The financial coverage of this scholarship includes a scholarship of IDR 1,250,000 (Rupiah) and a living allowance in Indonesia of IDR 2,550,000 (Rupiah). During the Master’s program, students receive the following benefits:

Eligibility Criteria for Indonesia Scholarship (KNB)
The conditions of this scholarship are different at each level.
Bachelor’s degree
- Maximum age of 25 years
- Having a high school diploma (scanned degree certificate and educational documents in English)
- TOEFL IBT 80, IELTS 6.0 and TOEIC 700
- Apply for the KNB Scholarship.
- Proof of citizenship (official passport or personal ID)
- Complete the online application form.
Master’s degree
- Maximum age is 35 years
- Bachelor’s degree (Please provide scanned degree certificate and academic credentials in English.)
- A minimum score of TOEFL IBT 80 or IELTS 6.0 or TOEIC 700 (the score must be obtained in the last 2 years.)
- Submit a KNB scholarship application.
- Provide a letter of recommendation from the previous university.
- Proof of citizenship (official passport or personal birth certificate)
- Complete the online application form.
PhD. degree
- Maximum age is 40 years
- Master’s degree (Please provide scanned Master’s certificate and academic credentials in English.)
- A minimum score of TOEFL IBT 80 or IELTS 6.0 or TOEIC 700 (the score must be obtained in the last 2 years.)
- Submit a KNB scholarship application.
- Provide a letter of recommendation from the previous university.
- Proof of citizenship (official passport or personal birth certificate)
- Complete the online application form.

- Letter of recommendation from the Indonesian Embassy
- Two academic recommendation letters
- Scan the first page of the passport
- Scanning of academic documents and transcripts (official translation)
- Scan TOEFL, IELTS or other valid English documents
- Health certificate scan
