Academic Programs
The dates of admission and their criteria are different according to the program and thus those who wish to enroll must ensure the complete compliance of all entry requirements for each program and send applications and all necessary documentation, accordingly.
Students are admitted for the Diploma, Masters or Ph.d. programs at the University of Qatar on a competitive basis Higher education will not be approved by the University of Qatar after the deadline declared.

Requirements for admission
The University of Qatar generally considers students who meet the entry requirements as follows based on the type of program:
Doctoral programs admission
- Complete a master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.00
- If required by the program, input test results (GRE, GMAT).
- Pass any further college/program requirements
Master programs admission
Two types of master programs are available in Qatar University:
- A Masters degree in Research enables the student to conduct research by completing a project for a thesis
- The Master’s program is a practical programme, which concentrates on professional know-how beyond the degree.
The application for research master’s programs by applicants who meet the following conditions is considered:
- Complete a bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA minimum of 2.80.
- Pass some more college/program criteria
It takes account of the applications of candidates who fulfill one of the following conditions for professional master programmes:
- Complete a bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA minimum of 2.80.
- A professional master’s course can be applied for by students with a cumulative GPA minimum of 4.00/2.80. In the first six months, the students must register for at least two subjects and have a GPA of no less than 4.00 / 3.00. If the first semester does not receive an average of 3,00, the student will no longer register from the program.

Fee for Admission Request
The admission fee of 350 Qatari Riyals through the Visa or MasterCard system of electronic application shall be paid by graduates who apply to Qatar University (Doctor, Pharmacy, masters, diploma and certificate) through the Visa or MasterCard system. The application for admission will not be treated as complete and will not be considered when making admission decisions until the admission fee is charged.
Please note that the transcript and the standardized test results are not considered to be official certificates if you enter into the registration site. Accordingly, all original documentation and documents must be submitted upon initial acceptance.
To complete admission to Qatar University, you are kindly requested to submit all original documents including University degree transcripts and standardized exam results to the post-graduate admission department.
The transcript of the finalized and official university certificate, the regular test results reports and the state of Qatar health certificate shall be sent to the Postgraduate Admission Office directly or to the following address:

Until after completing the online application, applicants should not submit any documentation to the Department of Postgraduate Admission. If the application is completed for the semester the student wishes to accept, the postgrading department will not obtain any documents from the students.
Application Steps
- Complete the request online and upload the documents
- The applicant completes the electronic request and uploads the required documents, and the student cannot upload additional documents or apply them in any other form upon the application and payment.
