The scholarship aims to contribute to a society’s sustainable and inclusive development. It’s available for mid-career professionals who live in specific nations. The grant also gives room to short trainings as well as Masters degree level program(s) in the area of all available programs at Netherlands Universities.
The Orange Knowledge Programme is a scholarship available in three different rounds, in which round 1 and 3 are closed at the moment. A new application round for OKP scholarships will open for applications between 28 June – 5 September 16.00 CET.

- You can not apply directly, you’ll first need to contact your Dutch education institution. Mind you, each institution in Netherlands Universities may have different eligibility criteria. You may click on ‘OKP information for applicants’ to learn more about the general eligibility criteria.
- Also, note that not all the areas are available for every nationality. There are focus-specific areas for each nationality. How To Apply for the Orange Knowledge Programme Scholarship
The procedure for the scholarship program at Netherlands universities is as follows:
- The applicants register with their Dutch education institution
- Dutch institution will nominate the applicants and submits a grant application
- The embassies will check the eligibility status of the candidates and assess applications.
- Selection results for the successful candidates published
- Grants awarded to the successful candidates
